At the initial meeting, we will review the client’s status, make some preliminary determinations regarding eligibility, discuss some preliminary scenarios, establish goals, and estimate the work which will need to be done in order to accomplish those goals.  At the end of the initial meeting, we will provide you with a written fee estimate and a retainer request.  If you decide to engage us, (your estimate and retainer request is good for 30 days) we will ask you to sign a legal services contract, some disclosures, and provide us with the payment for the initial phase of work.  There is no charge for the first meeting itself if you do not engage the firm.  If you do engage the firm, the first meeting is included within the basic charge for initial financial review.
